Dr. Naik, CEO, INTOX, Pvt Ltd, Pune, completed his Ph.D in Applied Biology, in 1989 from Bombai University. He has undergone training in “Advance Course in Toxicology from London, in 1990. He has wide experience in toxicology and related areas. He is the Co-founder of Indian Institute of Toxicology established in 1981. He served at Seth G. S. Medical College, Mumbai, Haffkine Institute, Mumbai and Indian Institute of Toxicology. Pune. Presently he is the Director and CEO of Institute for Toxicological Studies. He is the Founder and working Life Time Director of the Institute.

 

Dr. Naik is member of many professional bodies / societies related to Toxicology / Animal Welfare. He has number of publications in National and International Journals

Dr. SESHAGIRI RAO.CASTURI, Hyderabad

 

Dr. Rao is Vice President, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. He completed his PhD in Pharmacology in 1988 and has obtained professional training from CIBA Research Center, Bombay, Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow and Seth. G. S. Medical College, Bombay.

 

He has wide experience in Pre-clinical safety evaluation and Quality management

system. Dr Seshagiri Rao, designed and established Pharmacology laboratories in IDPL Research Centre, in DRF-DRL for Screening new molecules. GLP & AAALAC Compliant rodent & non rodent Animal Facility, a standalone GLP Pre clinical Safety Evaluation facility in Discovery Research.

 

He is responsible for obtaining GLP certification for Discovery Research, DRL by Indian GLP Authorities as well as the Netherlands GLP Authority. He is also has wide experience in preparation of protocols for safety/toxicity as per ICH/OECD/Schedule “Y “guidelines for regulatory submissions and has extensive experience in Drug Discovery of various Pharmacophores, Anti-inflammatory, Anti-cancer, Anti-diabetic agents. Dr. Rao Visited and Audited several Contract Research Organizations, GLP Labs in various parts of Europe and United States of America. He has received several Award for Leadership by  Dr.Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd for leading the team for GLP certification, Award for most cited paper 2003-2006– Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry letters

Dr. PV. Mohanan, Thiruvananthapuram

 

Dr. Mohanan is Scientist & Head, Toxicology Division, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Biomedical Technology Wing, Poojapura, Thiruvananthapuram 695 012, Kerala.

 

He has 23 years experience in Pre-clinical toxicity/safety evaluation of medical devices, drugs, chemicals and tissue engineered products as per OECD, ASTM, USP, FDA, ISO protocols.

 

He has 73 publications and edited two books in GLP area. With the restrictions coming up in animal experimentation, developing alternative methods to animal experiments has become a necessity. In recognition of his distinguished and dedicated services to prevent cruelty to animals by minimizing the use of animals in research and development, The Academy of Science for Animal Welfare and Society of Toxicology recognized Dr. Mohanan’s contribution to Alternative to animal experimentations.

Dr. Natesan, Bangalore

 

Dr. Natesan is currently the Vice President and Head of Corporate Quality Assurance of Advinus Therapeutics Private Limited.

 

Dr. Natesan has nearly 30 years of Research & Development experience, including over 17 years of GLP experience, covering OECD, FDA and EPA GLP. He is a certified auditor and a Registered Quality Assurance Professional of the Society of Quality Assurance.

 

His primary experience is in analytical and product chemistry areas, including analytical work for pre-clinical safety assessment studies, environmental fate and multi-site studies. He has extensive experience with several GLP audits by the Monitoring Authorities of OECD countries since 1992 as well as the National GLP Compliance Monitoring Authority since 2005. Dr. Natesan has over 65 publications including chapters for books and frequently functions as examiner for evaluation of PhD thesis, and as a reviewer for scientific articles.

Dr. Pushpa Dhar, MBBS, MS, is currently working as Additional Professor of Anatomy at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences. With an experience of 25 years in teaching and research field, she is an academician, a research scholar and a successful teacher par excellence.

 

She has number of publications in National and International Journals of repute to her credit with major focus on Toxicology, Developmental Toxicology and

Neurobiology. She is currently engaged in various National as well as International scientific projects. She was awarded UNESCO recognized Netaji Subhash National award, Rashtriya Gaurav Award.

 

2.      Dr. MP. Pore, Pune

 

Dr. Pore. Co-founder of INTOX PVT. LTD, has played an important role in establishing and bringing up the organization to an international standard and repute. Dr. Pore joined INTOX in 1996 as a Founder Director and since then he has been working with this organization. He is one of the Senior Toxicologist at INTOX, with vast experience, over a period of two decades in toxicology and product safety assessment. He has wide experience in toxicology, including Regulatory Toxicology, Descriptive Toxicology and Laboratory Animal Welfare.

 

Dr. M. P. Pore is a member of more than 10 professional bodies / societies related to Toxicology / Animal Welfare. He is one of the key person responsible for implementing GLP Principles and obtaining GLP Certification for INTOX from GLP Monitoring Authority of Netherlands and India

Dr. Madhuri is a Senior Research Fellow, Department of Zoology & Biotechnology, Govt. Model Science College, Jabalpur, M.P, India.

 

Ms. Madhuri Sharma received ‘Senior Research Fellowship’ of CSIR, and ‘Sponsorship’ by Indian Herbs Research & Supply Co. Ltd., UP. Presently she is engaged in research project on the “Anticancer effects of some herbal drugs”. She

has authored 80 papers (including abstracts) and received 7 ‘Best Paper / Young Scientist Awards’.  She is a ‘Fellow of Society of Life Sciences and Academy of Sciences for Animal Welfare.

Dr. Pereira received Ram Lal 'Shad' Gold Medal Award for the best journal article published in Toxicology International Journal. This award goes to C. Pereira, K. Mapuskar and C. Vaman Rao of Department of  Zoology, St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Title of the paper is ‘Reproductive failure associated with chronic interactive mixture toxicity of diethyl phthalate and Clophen A60 after gestational and lactational exposure over two generations in Wistar rats’, Toxicol.
