Appeal for co-operation to help your Society grow

First of all let me convey our sincere thanks for the quick response and whole hearted support to Dr Rakesh YashRoy (circular/ appeal issued during the first quarter of year 2004 by executive secretary of STOX) for payment of Rs 300/- as one time contribution towards lifetime membership fee) in order to meet the increasing cost of publication and decreasing bank interest rates. ABT TO OFFER EXAM IN INDIA!

The American Board of Toxicology, Inc. is pleased to announce that the October 2009 examination will be offered in Bangalore, India. This is in addition to being offered in Edinburgh, California, and North Carolina.

American Society of Asian Origin (ASIO) offers Young Investigator Merit Award to STOX members

American Society of Asian Origin (ASIO)

This organization has graciously extended to the STOX members the offer of Student/Postdoctoral-Young Investigator (up to 5 yrs post – Ph.D) Merit Award in the name of Drs. Mehendale and Singh. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 22nd December 2008. The nominee has to attend the Society of Toxicology meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, USA in March 2009.

DABT Exam in India - 2009, for the first time in Asia - confirmed!

The Toxicology Community in India, rejoice!

Dr. KS Rao, our Hon’ble President of STOX has received the confirmation from the American Board of Toxicology (ABT) that the Board has unanimously agreed to hold the Examination for DABT in India in the year 2009.

The following is the message from Dr. KS Rao,

The American Board of Toxicology (ABT) Board of Directors have unanimously agreed
to offer the two-day written certification examination at a site in India. The ABT proposes
